When school had physical punishment...

I grew up in a few countries across different continents. Except for Singapore, where I studied Grade 5 and 6, all the schools I went to had corporal punishment prohibited. I have never seen any physical punishment at school my whole life.

Since I'm learning elementary German, my husband often sends me clips with easy German. Today he shared one with me which is somehow related to this blog:

It is a simulation of a German school 100 years ago. I don't understand most of the things said, but it's easy to tell what they were doing.

My husband once told me when he went to lower primary school in Germany, young teachers never hit kids, but some old teachers brought a stick to class. I had no idea what he was talking about and what the stick was for, but now I understand.

luckily no punishment

I did something which my husband told me not to.

He noticed that and immediately came over pulled down my pants and panties, grabbed my hands and...

In just a few seconds I was in almost exactly the same situation as this kid.

I leaned closer to my husband and looked at him straight into the eyes and said sorry, sincerely.

Then he gave me one smack on my bottom.

"You don't want to get more of this, do you?"

No, definitely not.

But I didn't say anything. Just hugged my husband deeply and buried my head in his arms.

With my finger, I "wrote" I, ♥, U on his back, one by one.

He said he loves me too :)

"Now be a good girl" he said.

motivated

This post is not about punishment. I think I did well in today's six hour exam, and I feel like I have overcome a huge challenge --- until I watched this.

A touching, amazing, mesmerizing performance that I haven't seen for a while.

All my challenges now seem to be really nothing.

Enjoy!

5 most feared non-spanking punishment

My husband doesn't only spank me. He uses a variety of punishments.

#5 copying lines

Usually 50-100 times on a single line paper. Sometimes he asks me to write with my left hand to make it hard to write quickly.

If my handwriting is not tidy, he might ask me to write again. That's the most scary part.

#4 lectured in public

This has happened a few times. Most of the time I get scolded at home. Once it was really serious I was told to stop in the middle of the street and got lectured by my husband. Somehow it reminds me of the little Prince George being told off by Kate at her sister's wedding.

#3 ear pulling

My husband does not only pull. Sometimes he also twists my ear, which can make me scream.

#2 standing pulling my own ears

Like I've said, this punishment is crazy. Basically it's just holding both of my ears with my thumb and index finger with my arm raised so that my arm and forearm makes an angle of 30 degrees. It looks effortless, and it is --- for the first 2 to 3 minutes. 5 minutes later you'll start feeling something, and 10 minutes is like torture to me. Anyone will become a good girl in less than 10 minutes.

This:

Different from the following pose that can be seen in Bollywood movies:

I had never been asked to stand holding my ears until I met my husband. At first I thought the strange pose is just meant for humiliation, but it's 100 times more tiring than "hands on the head".

I have no idea how my husband has learnt about this punishment, and I never want to bring up this topic in front of him.

#1 kneeling in front of a mirror

Humiliating and tiring, cos my husband didn't let me sit on my legs. To make life harder, my husband once asked me to hold a heavy bible above my head when I was kneeling. That 15 mins felt like forever.

There are other types of punishment like having my privilege taken away. No tv, no fb, no snacks, no coffee, no talking for 1 hour etc. But they are not as scary as the five types of punishment above.

what a writing topic...

Next Mon I'll need to take the IELTS English exam, just to satisfy the language requirements of a study programme I've applied for.

The requirement is just 7.5 out of 9. I guess I should be fine but still want to get better prepared, especially writing.

60 mins to write a short data analysis and a short argumentative essay.

So I opened a practice book and turned to Test 1.

The topic of the argumentative essay makes me totally speechless.

Not funny to somebody who was just punished last night :(

If you just replace "children" with "wives" or "girls"; "parents and teachers" with "husband"...

there are always surprises

My husband suddenly came home. 3:30am. I was still awake watching tv shows on Netflix. Not sleeping. Not working. Not studying.

He didn't even need to ask me what happened.

#1 staying up this late is not healthy. #2 when we facetimed in the afternoon I promised to go to bed by 11:30.

"Come here", my husband said.

He didn't even need to tell me what he's going to do.

I removed my panties. My husband put me across his knee and lifted my skirt up.

I'm sure you can tell what happened next.

It's my bad :(

homework when my husband is away

My husband has assigned homework, because I've recently learnt perfect tense in my German course. It's like past tense in English.

So my homework is to handwrite a short paragraph in German telling my husband what I do every day when he's away and send him a snapshot of my paragraph. My husband said if I write well he'll buy me a small gift, but there's no punishment no matter how my writing looks like as long as I've put in the effort to write.

This is the one for today. Very childish?

Enjoy reading --- if you can understand German.

Please don't punish me if I've made mistakes. I've just learnt the language for three months :)
