maintenance "homework"

After I was spanked the other day, I happened to have learnt something like can, should, want to, must in my German class.

Then my husband made me write a few sentences with those words, to remind me that I can't drink anything cold until I have fully recovered.

This is what I have written:

I don't know how to use "when" or "if" yet. If you can read German, you should know that this is what I've written:

"I cannot drink beer. I can drink tea or water.

Maybe I should not have any ice-cream.

Today I want to have iced tea, but I am still coughing. I must wait."

So my husband doesn't give maintenance spanking but maintenance "homework".
